The story of Gala Food Group began in 2018, when three founders, driven by their culinary dreams, set out with the vision of making the world fall in love with Chinese cuisine. With a commitment to bring authentic Chinese dining culture to the global stage, they embraced the mission to provide global customers with a high-quality culinary experience and to celebrate multiculturalism and authentic flavours.
After six years of dedicated development, the group has evolved from a startup team in Singapore into an international culinary ecosystem encompassing research and development, production and service. The group now comprises three distinct brands, 14 standardized outlets, and a network of central kitchens spanning multiple countries. All facilities haveachieved ISO22000 international food safety certification and the halal brand’s outlets and central kitchens are certified by Singapore's MUIS, making Sheng Yan Group a benchmark enterprise in the globalization of Eastern culinary culture.

Yu Viola
Viola Yu serves as the Vice President of Gala Food Group, co-founding the company alongside Xu Rong and playing a key role in its development and achievements. She provides strategic direction across all departments, ensuring seamless collaboration to meet the company’s objectives. Committed to sustainable growth, Viola spearheads efforts to expand Gala Food’s international presence, driving opportunities abroad and strengthening its position as a global brand. Her leadership has been pivotal in shaping the company’s growth trajectory and securing its ongoing success.
Hu Kexin
Hu Kexin is the Head Chef at Gala Food Group, specially recruited from China for his expertise in culinary arts and kitchen management. He plays a key role in upholding the company’s reputation by overseeing kitchen operations, delivering high-quality food, and maintaining consistent culinary standards. Additionally, he ensures the authenticity of our Chinese food while creating innovative menus that appeal to local tastes.
Sun Ziyuan
Sun Ziyuan is the Operations Director at Gala Food Group, having started her career in the F&B industry at a young age. With an extensive network and deep industry knowledge, she leads a highly skilled team that identifies bottlenecks, streamlines workflows and implements strategic improvements to boost productivity, customer satisfaction and overall business performance, driving the company growth and success.
